New Ulm Community Market and Cooperative Refresh: Rebrand and Relocation

New Ulm Community Market and Cooperative (NUCMC) is getting a refresh with a new name and a new location! New Ulm’s downtown food co-op will now be known as Graze, and will setting down roots in a brand-new space at 1st South Minnesota Street.

This exciting evolution reflects the co-op’s dedication to cultivating a more sustainable food economy, by providing New Ulm and surrounding communities access to fresh, local and organic food.

The name, “Graze”, was selected by the Board of Directors among a list of names previously submitted by co-op members. Just like animals grazing on lush pastures, Graze reflects the bounty of our region and the connections between the land, our farmers, and your table. Huge thank you to Skeeter Design on the logo work!

In addition to a new name, Graze will have a new home at 1st South Minnesota Street (former Subway location). This location provides convenient access to high-quality food and unique gift items to all who work, live and visit downtown New Ulm. The larger space also allows the co-op to continue its mission of prioritizing local farmers and producers when sourcing products and allows room for growth and expansion.

Stay tuned for the official opening date at the new location (the co-op will remain open in its current location, 506 1st Street North, until then) - and watch for the Graze logo start making appearances online and in-store!
